How engineering designers’ social relationships influence green design intention: The roles of personal norms and voluntary instruments

Engineering designers are crucial professionals to put green principles into practice improve the performance of engineering projects. The social context and personal values more likely stimulate their initiative voluntary conduct for design induce persistent behavior changes. Thus, this research, from a social-psychological perspective, investigated how designers’ relationships work on intention by assessing roles norms instruments. Then, using data collected questionnaire survey, Partial-Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling was employed validate theoretical hypotheses. results show that positively correlate with norms, partially mediate relationship between intention.
